We're on the hunt for an experienced
Cook / Fryer
to join our young, enthusiastic team at our beachside fish & chip shop.
This is
not your average fish and chip shop
– we focus on quality seafood, proper technique, and consistently excellent food.
Shift details:
Casual position
Minimum 4-hour shifts
Afternoon/evening starts from
3pm
What we're looking for:
Proven experience working in a kitchen
Strong frying experience (essential)
Confident with free-floating fish and maintaining consistent batter
Knowledge of oil management and cleaning/maintaining fryers
Ability to work fast, clean, and under pressure
Pride in quality, consistency, and presentation
Reliable and team-focused
Your responsibilities:
Cooking and frying seafood to our standards
Managing fryer temps, oil quality, and cleanliness
Free-floating fish correctly
Keeping a clean and organised workstation
Supporting the team during busy service
