About the role
Civil X Pty Ltd is a growing Adelaide-based civil construction company specialising in all aspects of earthmoving and civil works.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Operator (Excavator / Bobcat / Front End Loader) to join our team based in Adelaide, SA for an immediate start.
This role will commence as a casual position offering full-time hours (Monday to Friday, day shift), with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment for the right candidate.
As a Machine Civil Operator, you will play a vital role in our construction operations, safely operating a range of heavy machinery to support the successful delivery of civil construction projects.

What you'll be doing
Safely and efficiently operate a range of construction equipment and machinery, including excavators, bobcats, skid steers, loaders, and other relevant machinery and tools
Safely operate a tipper truck to transport and deliver materials and machinery (preferred but not essential).
Perform pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety




Work collaboratively with the Director to complete tasks in a timely and professional manner
Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our construction processes and procedures
What we're looking for
Demonstrated experience as a Civil Operator with a strong understanding of operating heavy machinery and equipment
Current HC or HR driver's licence (preferred but not essential)
Excavator and/or Skid Steer licence
White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Grader experience highly regarded
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safety and a proven track record of following safe work practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients
