Storeman – Bibra Lake Workshop | Other clients also North of the River CrewSELECT is currently seeking an experienced Storeman to join a busy switchboard manufacturing workshop based in Bibra Lake.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hands-on candidate looking to secure long-term employment within a well-established workshop environment.
About the Role Working within a switchboard workshop, you will be responsible for coordinating deliveries, moving equipment and materials throughout the workshop, assisting with stock control, and supporting the Workshop Leading Hand with day-to-day operations.
This role is suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a rapid-paced industrial workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities Unloading deliveries using a forklift Checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery dockets Organising and putting away stock and materials Packing, wrapping,



and preparing switchboards for collection and transport Operating gantry cranes to move switchboards throughout the workshop Assisting the Workshop Leading Hand with daily workshop duties Monitoring stock levels and assisting with material control Following up overdue materials and liaising with purchasing when required Maintaining workshop cleanliness and organisation Assisting with general workshop and yard duties as required Skills & Experience Previous experience working in a storeman or workshop support role Current Forklift Licence essential Gantry Crane experience essential Dogman or Gantry Crane ticket highly regarded Ability to work safely within an industrial workshop workplace Strong organisational and communication skills Reliable work ethic and ability to work within a team What's on Offer Bibra Lake workshop location Temp to Perm chance $35 – $40/hr depending on experience 40-hour week with 9-day fortnight Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 3:00pm Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm Stable and supportive workshop environment How to Apply If you are an experienced Storeman with forklift and gantry crane experience looking for a long-term chance, apply now or contact CrewSELECT for more information.
