Role OverviewSeeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong hands-on detailed design experience in power, hydropower, or major infrastructure projects, with expertise in Balance of Plant (BoP) electrical systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead detailed BoP electrical design, including SLDs, cable sizing, protection, and technical specifications.Design and review LV/MV/HV switchgear, transformers, generator feeders, DC and auxiliary systems.Coordinate with suppliers, engineering teams, procurement, installation, and commissioning.Provide hands-on site engineering support, inspections, NCR resolution,



and commissioning assistance.Review technical documentation and maintain accurate As-Built records.
Required SkillsElectrical/Power Engineering degree with 10+ years' experience in power plants, hydropower, switchgear, or heavy infrastructure.Strong knowledge of LV/MV/HV systems, transformers, protection, grounding, and auxiliary power.Strong understanding of Australian Standards (AS/NZS); NER registration highly desirable.Proficiency in AutoCAD/Engineering Base, ETAP, and 3D/BIM tools such as Revizto.Solid stakeholder management and technical problem-solving skills.
