About the role
The NDIS Service Coordinator provides day-to-day leadership to the NDIS team.
This role ensures team effectiveness, participant outcomes, and compliance with NDIS standards.
Key responsibilities
Provide day-to-day leadership to the NDIS team
Conduct inductions for new team members
Ensure team members are meeting targets
Escalate performance management concerns to the Service Manager and/or Managing Director
Complete risk assessments and ensure incidents are reported
Assist with recruitment as requested by the Service Manager and/or Managing Director
Work closely with the Service Manager and Intake Coordinators to identify potential opportunities for expanding reach and potential clients in the NDIS sector
Build a robust and respected local network of relevant service providers in the community
Act as the first point of contact for new clients
Liaise with NDIS Local Area Coordinators
About you
Minimum 5 years experience leading a NDIS team
Demonstrated understanding of NDIS practice standards and the NDIS code of conduct
Demonstrated capability in providing direct support to participants through assisting, supporting, coaching, mentoring and training in the area of lifestyle skills
Provision of a creative, flexible, person-centred approach
Demonstrated ability to liaise with key stakeholders
Ability to establish and work collaboratively within a team environment
Strong organisational skills that facilitate prioritisation, meeting deadlines and multi-tasking
Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills that embrace a diverse range of stakeholder interests
Minimum of a Cert IV in Disability, Mental Health or Community Services, or other health related field
Current unrestricted Australian or International driver's licence and access to a car
