We are seeking a talented Senior Strategic Planner - Research to drive the future of our city by leading and supporting vital planning projects.
In this dynamic role, you will be the go-to expert for unlocking critical data across utilities, transport, demographics, and the environment.
You won't just find information - you will critique its accuracy, produce bespoke research, and work collaboratively across various business units to help shape the strategic direction of our community.

Working closely with the Coordinator Strategic Land Use Planning and Manager Strategic Planning, you will translate sophisticated research into clear, compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders.

This is a permanent full time position.
The salary for this position will be from $115,****** - $131,****** per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
About you
We are looking for someone who has the following:
Tertiary qualification at a Bachelor Degree level, or above, in Planning, Research or a related field
Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Planning, Research or a related field
Practical experience of managing at least one project (desirable)
Working knowledge of how local government operates (desirable)
Current 'C' class driver's license
A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required
A positive approach to people, work and learning
An ability to balance workloads and meet competing timeframes
An ability to understand and organise large volumes of information
