Working closely with project, construction and client teams, you
will lead the coordination of stakeholder engagement activities,
oversee communications and reporting, manage stakeholder issues and
risks, and ensure contractual and client requirements are
met.
Enjoy a 5/2 roster with a 10% uplift while working
onsite on our metro projects, providing an attractive opportunity

To be considered for this position you will possess the
following:
Demonstrated experience working on Main Roads WA, State
Government or other major infrastructure projects
Significant experience in community and stakeholder
engagement, communications, community relations or a similar
role on complex projects
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing
stakeholder engagement and communication plans
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including
the ability to prepare correspondence, notifications, reports
and presentations
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with
community members, businesses, government agencies, clients and
project teams
Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder enquiries,
complaints, claims, issues and commitments through to
resolution
Ability to identify stakeholder risks, develop practical
mitigation strategies and provide timely advice to project
teams
Strong understanding of contractual and client requirements
relating to community and stakeholder engagement
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage
competing priorities and deadlines
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with
multidisciplinary project and construction teams
Understanding of community engagement principles and
frameworks, including IAP2
Experience using stakeholder management databases, CRM
systems or engagement tracking tools
Experience working with Aboriginal stakeholders,
Traditional Owners and culturally significant stakeholder
groups is desirable
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InDesign or
similar communication tools is desirable
Responsible for but not limited to:
Develop, implement and regularly review the Community and
Stakeholder Engagement Plan
Ensure contractual, regulatory and client community and
stakeholder engagement requirements are understood and met
across the project
Represent the Community and Stakeholder Engagement function
at project, client and stakeholder meetings and provide advice
on engagement issues and project risks
Lead and coordinate stakeholder engagement activities
across planning, construction and completion phases
Develop and maintain robust relationships with residents,
businesses, landowners, community groups, local governments,
road users and other stakeholders
Coordinate stakeholder meetings, consultations, site
visits, community information sessions, public displays,
workshops and stakeholder briefings
Establish and manage stakeholder reference groups and
community forums where required under project contracts
Lead the management of community enquiries, complaints,
claims and stakeholder issues through to resolution
Identify emerging stakeholder issues, community concerns
and reputational risks and provide timely advice and
recommendations to the project team
Ensure stakeholder commitments, actions, response
timeframes and engagement records are accurately tracked and
maintained
Lead the development, review and approval of community and
stakeholder communications including construction
notifications, newsletters, fact sheets, FAQs and project
correspondence
Work with construction teams to ensure communications
accurately reflect project activities, impacts, mitigations and
timeframes
Coordinate project events, site tours, stakeholder
briefings, community initiatives and project promotion
activities
Monitor stakeholder sentiment, engagement performance and
contractual requirements and provide regular reporting through
project dashboards and weekly, monthly and quarterly
reports
Support and develop project team understanding of community
and stakeholder requirements, including appropriate behaviours
when engaging with members of the public
Work collaboratively with the Aboriginal Engagement
Coordinator to support appropriate engagement with Traditional
Owners and culturally significant stakeholder groups
