Kingscliff Health General Practice
is seeking a caring, experienced and motivated
Registered Nurse
to join our friendly practice nursing team.
Located in beautiful Kingscliff, Kingscliff Health is a busy, well-established general practice that prides itself on providing a rewarding and dynamic workplace, with a supportive team environment and a strong focus on quality patient care.
Previous general practice experience is an advantage, but not essential for the right applicant who is willing to learn and become part of our team.
Hours & Flexibility
We pride ourselves on having an amazing team at Kingscliff Health.
To find the right person or people to complement our team, we are open to either one nurse working 3–4 days per week or two nurses working approximately 2 days per week, depending on the applicants and what best suits our team and practice needs.
The successful applicant/s will need to be flexible with their days of work, as our nursing roster is coordinated around GP availability, leave and practice requirements.
This is an excellent prospect for a nurse seeking ongoing work, variety in their role and the opportunity to become a valued long-term member of our practice team.
Job Tasks & Responsibilities
Health Assessments
Adult and childhood vaccinations
Dressings,



wound care and suture removal
Assisting GPs with minor procedures
ECGs and ABI
Iron infusions and venesections
Patient triage, blood pressure monitoring and observations
SC, IM and IV medication administration
Treatment room management and day-to-day nursing duties
Infection prevention and control
Sterilisation
Other general practice nursing responsibilities as required
Skills & Experience
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Current CPR certificate
General practice experience advantageous, but not essential
Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A professional, friendly and patient-centred approach
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Flexibility to assist with sick and annual leave cover is a must
