About the role
We are looking for a reliable, motivated and hands-on person to join our team and assist with the day-to-day work around our boat yard.
This is a practical role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their workmanship and is willing to learn.
The position will involve a variety of general boat maintenance, preparation and detailing tasks, with the opportunity to develop further skills within the marine industry.
Key responsibilities
Preparation and application of antifouling coatings
Preparation of hulls and underwater surfaces prior to painting
Polishing and detailing of boats
Propeller and underwater gear preparation
Removal and application of PropSpeed
General boat yard maintenance and cleaning
Assisting tradespeople with boat repairs and maintenance
Preparing work areas, tools and equipment
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
Carrying out general labouring duties as required
About you
Is reliable,



punctual and has a good work ethic
Takes pride in the quality of their work
Has good attention to detail
Is comfortable working outdoors and around boats
Can work independently as well as part of a team
Is physically fit and able to carry out practical, hands-on work
Has a willingness to learn current skills
Holds a current driver's licence
Experience with antifouling, polishing, marine coatings or PropSpeed application would be an advantage
