About the opportunityWe are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for our Resource Development project at Rio Tinto's Brockman 4 mine.
The role involves operating 36-tonne excavators across steep and challenging terrain to support drill-pad construction, access preparation, drainage and rehabilitation works.
Key requirements:
Proven excavator experience in steep terrain.




Experience operating CAT 336 or similar excavators.
Competent in drill-pad construction, battering, benching, drainage and final trimming.
Current RIIMPO301E excavator competency.
Strong understanding of secure machine positioning and slope limitations.
GPS/machine-control experience preferred.
Current driver's licence and White Card.
Ability to pass a medical and drug/alcohol screen.
Strong safety focus and ability to work independently in remote areas.
