About the role
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and energetic Dental Assistant to join our qualified team.
The role is casual with hours to be negotiated between 8.30 am and 8.30 pm between Mon-Thur.
The hours are variable and may require split shifts on the same day.
Additional shifts may be available during the Christmas and school holidays.
The candidate should have a Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting or prior experience as a Dental Assistant.
On the job training will also be provided.
The candidate should also be comfortable with the use of computers and have a drivers licence and car if they don't live nearby.

What you'll be doing




Assisting dental practitioners during patient consultations, treatments and procedures by passing instruments and materials as required
Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols
Providing chairside support and ensuring patient comfort during dental procedures
Maintaining a clean and organised treatment area, including instrument trays and work surfaces
Welcoming patients
Supporting the dental team with administrative tasks and practice operations
