Waste Water Services | Perth, WA
Waste Water Services (WWS) is part of Vysarn Limited (ASX: VYS), Australia's leading vertically integrated water services provider supporting the mining, resources and infrastructure sectors.
Waste Water Services specialises in the design, construction and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, including sewage treatment plants, potable water treatment systems, pump stations, filtration systems and reverse osmosis plants.
Our projects support major clients including BHP, Rio Tinto and Fortescue, as well as Water Corporation, local governments and regional communities across Western Australia.
Due to continued growth and a robust pipeline of projects, we are looking for a motivated Project Coordinator to join our project delivery team in Perth.
The Role
This is a hands-on coordination role with a strong focus on mobilisation and project support.
Working alongside our project managers, engineers and site teams, you will help coordinate the people, subcontractors, equipment, documentation and logistics required to successfully mobilise and deliver projects across Western Australia.
A large part of the role involves making sure our site teams have everything in place to get to site and start work — from inductions, training and travel requirements through to subcontractor bookings, equipment, documentation and materials.
What You'll Be Doing
Coordinating mobilisation requirements for project and site personnel
Managing inductions, training records, site access requirements and mobilisation documentation
Coordinating travel, accommodation and other mobilisation logistics as required
Booking and coordinating cranes, vacuum trucks, subcontractors and other external services
Liaising with project managers, engineers, suppliers,
subcontractors and site personnel
Supporting project scheduling and tracking key milestones and deliverables
Coordinating supplier drawings, manuals, compliance records and other project documentation
Supporting MDR, OMM and project handover documentation
Assisting with procurement and tracking equipment and materials
Coordinating materials and equipment dispatch to site
Supporting commissioning preparation and associated documentation
Maintaining project registers, records and general project documentation
Who We're Looking For
Previous mobilisation experience will be highly regarded, particularly within mining, resources, construction, engineering or a similar project environment.
However, experience isn't the only thing we're looking for.
This position would also suit someone earlier in their career who has the drive and capability to develop into a strong project professional.
You will ideally bring:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion
Clear and confident written and verbal communication
A proactive approach and willingness to take responsibility
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
The ability to work effectively with project managers, site personnel, suppliers and subcontractors
A genuine interest in developing a career in project coordination and project delivery
A qualification in project management,
business administration or a related discipline will be advantageous but is not essential.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is motivated, committed and looking to build a long-term career in project delivery.
Experience with mobilisation systems, mining inductions, project documentation, MDRs, OMMs, procurement or supplier coordination will also be advantageous.
Working With Us
You will work alongside experienced project managers and engineers and gain exposure to the full lifecycle of water infrastructure projects, from engineering and procurement through to mobilisation, construction and commissioning.
The work is substantive from day one.
The projects we deliver are critical to the operations of our clients and the regional communities they support.
For someone who is motivated to learn and prepared to put in the effort, this role offers an opportunity to develop practical project delivery experience and build a long-term career as Waste Water Services and the broader Vysarn Group continue to grow.
