About the roleOrange Christian School is seeking an experienced ICT Technical Support Specialist to join our growing Information and Communication Technology team.
This is a full-time position based in Orange, NSW ****.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to our school community, including staff, students, and administrative personnel.
You will be instrumental in ensuring that our IT infrastructure runs smoothly, enabling effective teaching, learning, and administrative operations across the school.
This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an educational environment whilst maintaining critical technology systems that support our mission.
Key responsibilities
Provide first and second-line technical support to staff, students, and parents via phone, email, and in-person assistance
Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner
Manage and maintain user accounts, access permissions, and IT security protocols across the school network
Install, configure and upgrade computer systems, peripherals, and software applications
Maintain IT equipment inventory and manage asset tracking and documentation
Perform regular system backups, updates and preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability
Provide technical training and guidance to staff on the use of school IT systems and applications
Monitor network performance and respond to IT alerts and incidents
Support the deployment of new technology initiatives and educational software
Assist in the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure improvements
Maintain detailed records of support tickets and technical issues for reporting and analysis
