About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join the Ryan Conroy Mechanical Pty Ltd team in Fernvale, Queensland. As a full-time Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a range of heavy machinery and vehicles.

Positions available in Brisbane and NSW (remote work).

What you'll be doing

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy-duty components
- Perform scheduled maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment, including trucks, dozers, and excavators
- Undertake fault-finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed
- Ensure a secure and organised work environment
- Provide exceptional customer service and support

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and repair
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
- A current driver's licence
