Our client, Boulia Primary Health Centre, is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead their primary health care operations in Queensland. This is a contract position running from 7 September to 22 September 2026, offering a remuneration of AUD$91.00 per hour. The successful candidate will step into a leadership role overseeing nursing operations and clinical standards across the centre's primary health services.

Preferred Requirements

- Extensive experience in nursing leadership and management within primary or community health settings




- Robust understanding of primary health care delivery models and best practice standards
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop nursing teams
- Sound knowledge of clinical governance, quality assurance, and compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across clinical and administrative teams

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification in Nursing Leadership, Management, or Health Administration
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
