About Tellus

Tellus is an ambitious company that provides advanced end-to-end solutions for managing Australia’s most challenging hazardous materials at its Sandy Ridge Facility. Sandy Ridge is Australia’s first and only operational geological repository. Our mission is to enable the clean energy transition by helping Australian industry start up, scale up, clean up, and innovate in circular economy technologies.

The Chance

The Sandy Ridge Facility is a remote residential site, with FIFO from Jandakot, Perth, or DIDO from regional towns. Our operations are day shift only, currently working a 2:2 roster pattern. The project has a design life of at least 25 years and operates with a team of approximately 25 Tellus staff and additional contractors (per swing).

We are urgently seeking multiple experienced plant operators to support two upcoming campaigns:

- Flex Pipe Campaign – 8 to 10 months

- Ramp Excavation Campaign – 3 to 4 weeks

Positions Available

Flex Pipe Campaign (8–10 months)

- HC Truck Driver - Dogman and Forklift tickets highly regarded; other tickets a bonus x2

- Excavator Operator (Primary) - Minimum C2 crane ticket; Loader/Forklift a bonus x2

- Operator/Labourer - HR licence, Forklift ticket x2

- Loader Operator - HR+ licence, Forklift ticket x1





Ramp Excavation Campaign (3–4 weeks)

- Moxy Operator - HC Licence, Forklift ticket x1

- Excavator Operator (15+ tonne) - Must have a rockbreaker experience x1

Reporting Relationships

Reporting to our Facility Manager, the role will be based at our operational facility - Sandy Ridge (nr. Coolgardie)

This role is offered as a casual position through a third-party labour hire provider.

Desirable

- Experience in storage and handling of Dangerous Goods.

- Waste management experience.

- Working at Heights.

- EWP ticket.

- Controlled waste experience.

- Remote site operation and/or FIFO/DIDO experience.
