Reporting to the Ballarat Area Manager, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the NDIS Local Area Coordination team across the Central Highlands region. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the service by supporting staff, maintaining accurate records and assisting community members who access the program.
Key responsibilities
- Providing administration support including correspondence, filing, scanning and document preparation
- Managing phone enquiries, transferring calls and providing information to participants, families, carers and service providers
- Scheduling appointments, meetings and community events
- Preparing meeting agendas, minutes and documentation
- Maintaining client records and data systems in line with organisational and NDIA requirements
- Assisting with data collection, reporting and quality improvement activities
- Coordinating office resources and supporting community engagement activities
About you
- Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience (desirable)
- Demonstrated administration experience in a busy office environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Well-developed organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
- Understanding of the needs of people with disability, their families and carers (desirable)
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check and NDIA onboarding requirements
