Local Batch is a busy, community-focused cafe in South Yarra, and we're looking for an experienced Full-Time Senior Barista to join our team.
We're looking for someone confident, reliable and friendly who loves great coffee and genuinely enjoys connecting with customers. We have a strong base of regulars, so personality and customer service are just as important to us as making consistently outstanding coffee.
About the role:
Full-time, approximately 38 hours per week
Making consistently high-quality coffee in a fast-paced environment
Providing warm and friendly customer service




Taking ownership during busy shifts and helping service run smoothly
Opening and closing the cafe when required
Supporting other team members
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
About you:
Minimum 2-3 years barista experience
Confident working independently on the coffee machine
Fast and efficient during busy periods
Reliable, punctual and organised
Friendly, outgoing and great with customers
Takes initiative and works well within a team
Weekend availability required
Previous senior barista or leadership experience is highly regarded, but we're primarily looking for someone with strong experience, a great attitude and who wants to become a long-term part of our team.
