St Francis Xavier College is seeking multiple Exam Supervisors to join our team for the 2026 VCE examination period at our Beaconsfield Campus.
Availability Requirement
Applicants must be available to work during the examination period from 15 October to 18 November 2026.
Exam Supervisors will be rostered throughout the examination period in accordance with the VCE examination timetable and College requirements. Days and hours of work will vary.
Exam Supervisors play an significant role in supporting the smooth and appropriate conduct of VCE examinations. Working under the direction of the Chief Supervisor, successful applicants will help ensure that examinations are conducted in accordance with relevant procedures and provide students with an organised and supportive examination environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising students during VCE examinations
- Following procedures for the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments
- Maintaining appropriate order and examination conditions
- Ensuring examination rules and requirements are followed
- Supporting students with approved Special Examination Arrangements where required
- Maintaining confidentiality and the integrity and security of examination materials and processes
- Responding appropriately to issues that may arise during an examination
- Undertaking other examination-related duties as directed by the Chief Supervisor
About You
We are looking for people who are reliable,
attentive and able to remain calm and professional in an examination environment.
Successful applicants will have:
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to communicate and read instructions clearly
- The ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work under pressure and respond promptly to issues
- Previous supervisory experience or experience within an education environment would be beneficial
Due to VCE examination requirements, applicants must not be related to or associated with anyone engaged in teaching, tutoring or coaching students undertaking VCE Unit 3 or 4 studies at the College. Applicants must also not be associated with organising, checking or distributing VCE examination papers at another school.
Applicants will be required to meet the College's relevant child safety and pre-employment requirements.
