You will be responsible for:

- Assisting with servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance of heavy vehicles and workshop equipment.

- Performing general mechanical workshop duties under the direction of qualified mechanics and the Workshop Manager.

- Using hand tools,



power tools and workshop equipment safely and appropriately.

- Assisting with vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance and general workshop checks.

- Keeping accurate records of service and repairs.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience working around trucks, heavy vehicles, trailers or mobile plant is highly regarded.

- Basic mechanical knowledge and a genuine interest in developing a career in heavy vehicle maintenance.

- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and general workshop equipment.

- Demonstrated ability working within a quick-paced environment.

- Ability to safely follow instructions and work under the direction of qualified mechanics and supervisors.

- Current forklift license desired.

- HR license desired.
