Menarock LIFE is seeking passionate and experienced Personal Care Assistants to join our dedicated team providing quality aged care services at our Glen Waverley home. In these part-time and casual roles, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily living activities and ensuring their overall comfort and wellbeing.
What you'll be doing
1. Providing personal care assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
2. Helping residents with mobility, transfers and ambulation
3. Serving meals and assisting with feeding as required
4. Documenting resident care activities and reporting any changes in condition
5. Engaging residents in social and recreational activities to promote their wellbeing
6. Maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable living environment for residents
7. Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and safety standards
What we're looking for
1. Relevant qualifications in aged care, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support
2. Previous experience working as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role in an aged care setting
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with elderly residents
4. Compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for older adults
5.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
6. Commitment to providing the highest standards of care and adhering to all regulatory requirements
