The Organisation

They are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator to support the delivery of their payroll function and provide exceptional service to employees across the business.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager and working within a collaborative payroll team, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the processing of payroll in an accurate and timely manner
- Processing new starters, terminations and employee payroll changes
- Responding to payroll enquiries and resolving issues efficiently
- Maintaining and updating employee payroll records
- Processing leave, overtime and payroll adjustments
- Supporting payroll reporting and reconciliation activities
- Assisting with superannuation and payroll-related deductions
- Maintaining payroll systems and ensuring data integrity
- Supporting compliance with payroll legislation, Awards and company policies
- Assisting with payroll process improvement initiatives
- Providing administrative support to the wider payroll function as required
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Officer or similar payroll support position along with the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Experience working within a payroll environment
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Confident when dealing with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Experience with payroll systems is highly regarded
