About the role

As a Joinery Estimator/Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of joinery projects and reviewing contracts for those projects. You will work closely with the team to ensure tenders are comprehensive, commercially sound, and aligned with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for joinery projects
- Review contracts for joinery projects
- Ensure tenders are comprehensive, commercially sound, and aligned with project requirements
- Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Review and understand construction contracts
- Identify inclusions, exclusions, and contractual obligations within scopes of work
- Assess project risk and commercial implications
- Work with tender documentation and contract administration processes

About you

- Previous experience as an estimator within the joinery industry
- Proven experience pricing commercial and/or residential joinery projects
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications




- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- Experience reviewing and understanding construction contracts
- Strong knowledge of scopes of work and the ability to identify inclusions, exclusions, and contractual obligations
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of project risk
- Experience working with tender documentation and contract administration processes
