Speech Pathologist, Early Childhood (0 – 9 Years) focus, mixed Case Load

The Co-Group is partnering with an established not-for-profit community organisation seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join its growing multidisciplinary allied health team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with children aged 0–9 years and their families with potential for a mixed case load, within a supportive and collaborative environment alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Behaviour Support Practitioners. Whether you are an experienced clinician or looking to build your paediatric expertise, you’ll receive tailored clinical supervision, mentoring and professional development to help you thrive in your role.
Responsibilities:
- Providing assessment and intervention for children with communication and developmental needs
- Supporting children experiencing speech, language, social communication and early literacy challenges
- Developing individualised therapy plans based on family priorities and meaningful outcomes.
- Delivering family-centred, evidence-based therapy
- Collaborating with parents, educators, early childhood services and support teams
- Completing assessments and reports to support NDIS and other funding pathways
- Participating in multidisciplinary case discussions and joint interventions where appropriate

About You
You are a compassionate and motivated Speech Pathologist who enjoys working with children and families and values collaborative, person-centred care.
Ideally, you will have:
- A recognised Speech Pathology qualification and eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership
- Experience working with children and families (desirable, but not essential)
- An understanding of developmental delay, autism and communication difficulties
- A person- and family-centred approach to therapy
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisation and time management
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional learning
- Recent University graduate will be considered
Essential Requirements
- Speech Pathology qualification
- Current Speech Pathology Australia membership
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
