Broad Engineering, a preferred civil and construction company based in Toowoomba, is seeking an experienced and reliable Civil Construction Labourer to join our retaining wall construction team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, safety-focused person who enjoys working outdoors, and contributing to high-quality civil construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the construction and installation of concrete retaining walls.
- Undertake site preparation, and general civil labouring duties.
- Assist with installing posts, concrete sleepers, drainage and associated materials.
- Safely operate relevant plant and equipment where appropriately licensed.
- Follow site plans, instructions, SWMS and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors, operators and other team members.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Previous retaining wall or relevant civil construction experience.
- A current Construction Industry White Card.
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
- Assisting the operator with concrete retaining wall installation
- The physical capability to safely perform manual construction duties.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach.
- Availability for an immediate start.
