About The Role

Are you a seasoned Developer who enjoys both the strategy of leadership and staying close to the code? At Lite n’ Easy, we are looking for a Software Development Team Lead to join our Brisbane-based ICT team. This is a high-impact, "brownfield" environment where you will head a team of 5 in-house developers dedicated to continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys mentoring developers, driving best practices, and delivering innovative solutions that support both operational excellence and strategic business growth.

- Lead & Mentor: Head a team of 5 skilled developers, fostering a collaborative environment and identifying opportunities for their professional growth.
- Enforce Standards: Establish and lead best practices in Web and Application development, ensuring the team maintains excellent coding standards across the full development cycle.
- Technical Delivery: Manage timelines from concept through to application launch, working closely with the Applications Manager and ICT Project Manager to prioritize strategic initiatives.




- Hybrid Approach: Navigate a diverse workload involving Agile/ Waterfall and Squads for projects Business-As-Usual (BAU) tasks.
- Technical Quality: Ensure the reliability, performance and security of applications while driving innovation to meet evolving business needs.

About You

- 10+ years' experience in web and application development.
- 5+ years' experience leading and mentoring development teams.
- Strong experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including:
- C#, .NET Framework and .NET Core
- ASP.NET web applications
- Windows Forms applications
- RESTful APIs

- React.js development experience.
- Strong JavaScript, jQuery, CSS/SASS, Bootstrap, and responsive web development skills.
- Solid SQL Server and database development experience.
- Strong understanding of application security principles, particularly within eCommerce environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Have

- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Microsoft App Center.
- .NET MAUI mobile application development.
- Experience with Next.js, Storyblok, and Vercel.
- Knowledge of legacy technologies including Visual Basic 6 or Microsoft Access.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and other business applications.
