We're excited to welcome a Patient Support Assistant (PSA) to our Operational Support Services team.

As a Patient Support Assistant improving the patient's experience is the focus of your daily tasks, both directly and indirectly. You will provide a safe environment by ensuring its cleanliness and provide staff with ready access to the clean linen, material and equipment. You will have the opportunity to interact with patients by moving them safely throughout the hospital and assist the clinical team to position and support their patients during the treatment and care.

Key Repsonbilities:

- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with Infection Control Guidelines.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled cleaning tasks as per task specification / procedures list.
- Assist clinical staff to position and support patients during treatment and care.
- Transfer patients throughout the facility including transfer of the deceased to the mortuary.
- Transfer materials, linen and waste.

Salary rates: $40.42 - $43.12 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) (OO2) (casual positions available) Applications will remain current for 12 months.
