About the role

Matterhorn is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our growing team.

The role involves the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems across hospitality, commercial, and industrial sites throughout Melbourne.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in their work, and delivers quality service to clients.

About you

We’re looking for a technician who is:

- Reliable, qualified, and customer-focused

- A strong communicator and team player

- Skilled in HVAC&R; systems with proven technical expertise

- Safety-conscious and committed to compliance

- Able to work independently and manage time effectively

You must hold:

- Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

- Current ARCtick Licence

- Restricted Electrical Licence

- Current Driver’s Licence & White Card

Key responsibilities

- Carry out maintenance, breakdowns, and repairs on refrigeration & air conditioning systems

- Fault-finding, and recommending repairs/replacements





- Provide technical support and clear communication with clients

- Complete detailed service reports

- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
