Physiotherapist wanted for Tech Start-Up | Melbourne
- Earning potential up to $150k Package
- Develop Physio AND Entrepreneurial Skills
- Mix of Clinic & Community
Traditional aged care was recently described by Four Corners as a "waiting room," where older adults are left to sit around rather than being actively engaged in their health.
We are working with a fast-growing Melbourne startup built by a Geriatrician and a Physio who watched their own family members go through this system and decided to change the narrative.
Operating more like a health-tech startup than a traditional clinic, they have built an exercise program that challenges the brain and body simultaneously.
Forget prescribing 20 boring sit-to-stands or massaging backs all day. This role is about gamifying rehab. You will use specialized tech to make sessions highly interactive, keeping clients smiling, moving, and actually looking forward to their physical therapy.
How the role works:
- The Split: 2 days in the clinic, 3 days doing home visits. You get the freedom of being on the road without the isolation of working completely solo.
- The Patients: Mostly early-stage dementia. Many are still driving and highly independent.
- Instant Caseload: You won't be twiddling your thumbs. Because of their incredible clinical outcomes, they are partnered with over 36 care providers and top Geriatricians. Their last hire had a completely full book within two months purely through organic medical referrals.
- The Vibe & Growth opportunities: Fast-paced and highly supportive. Instead of "Business as Usual", our client licences their tech and conducts clinical research. If you want to carve out a non-clinical niche for yourself (like GP relationships), the founders will back you.
The Pay: A lot of physios leave aged care not just because of career ceilings but also because of the pay ceilings. This company does things differently.
- Base + Uncapped Bonus: You get a secure base salary paired with a highly achievable, profit-share structure.
- Work Less, Earn More: Because sessions are only 30 minutes long, you only need about 2.5 to 3.5 hours of face-to-face clinical time per day to push your earnings well above industry averages. Top performers who want to see more patients are rewarded heavily for it.
- Travel Perks: You receive a generous per-kilometer fuel allowance to cover all travel between home visits.
Criteria:
- Full AHPRA Registration
- Full working rights in Australia
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Physiotherapy degree
- Drive, ambition and a bit of creativity helps!
If you're ready to challenge the perception of Aged Care and build a career with an organization that invests in its clinicians, I want to hear from you.
