We’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to take the lead at a busy, established venue in the Sunshine Coast.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who knows how to run a successful restaurant, but just as importantly, knows how to lead people. We’re looking for a manager who can bring out the best in a team, develop emerging leaders and create an environment where people feel supported, accountable and motivated to do a great job.

You’ll have responsibility for the overall running of the venue, with the autonomy to make decisions and lead from the front, backed by experienced owners and a wider management team.

The venue is part of a growing hospitality group with multiple locations across the Sunshine Coast, making this a great opportunity for someone looking beyond their next job and towards a longer-term career.

The role

You’ll be across what’s happening on the floor, know your team well and understand what the venue needs to perform at its best. That means everything from planning rosters and managing labour to recruitment, training, stock, service standards and the countless decisions that come with running a busy restaurant.

You’ll work closely with the kitchen team and wider management team, while taking genuine ownership of your venue.

People leadership will be a particularly important part of your role. We have team members at different stages of their hospitality careers, and we want a manager who enjoys helping others develop. You’ll support supervisors, mentor emerging leaders and help create clear expectations and consistency across the team.





We’re not looking for someone who simply keeps things ticking over. We want someone who notices where things could be better, takes initiative and wants to contribute to the continued development of the venue and the wider business.

Who we're looking for

You’ll already have solid experience managing a restaurant or working in a comparable senior hospitality role. You should be confident running busy services, making decisions and managing the operational side of a venue, but your ability to lead people will be just as important.

You’ll be organised and dependable, communicate well and know how to balance the needs of the business with those of your team and guests. When things get busy or something unexpected happens, you can stay calm, find a solution and keep everyone moving in the right direction.

Above all, we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and wants to build something long term.

The package for this position includes:

- $90,000–$100,000 + superannuation
