About the Position
We are seeking skilled CASUAL Disability Support Professionals to support participants in a residential setting. This job may require work across weekdays and weekends and may include sleepover shifts.

- Contribute to a safe, respectful and inclusive home workplace.
- Have experience in – or be willing to learn – how to provide best practice support for people with intellectual disability at home and in the community, including personal care, medication administration, adhering to care plans, mealtime management plans, daily living activities and household tasks.
- Have experience in providing person centred and rights-based support.
- Promote participant choice, control and supported decision-making.
- Have a strong sense of accountability and confidentiality.
- Have experience in, or willingness to support people requiring palliative and complex care, including monitoring client condition and escalating concerns appropriately
- Maintaining a high standard of documentation.
- Training and experience in manual handling.
- Have an understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards.
- Provide supports in line with the NDIS Code of Conduct.
Essential requirements for this role that are non-negotiable:
- Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People General Registration or relevant NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Current unrestricted ACT or NSW driver’s license.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exemption.
- Certificate of completion for NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Relevant qualification in Disability (desirable).
