About the role

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Field Service Technician to maintain and support simple mechanical equipment at retail sites across New South Wales. This is an on-the-road role where you will work to an assigned schedule, travel between store locations, and carry out basic servicing, inspections, and repairs. This is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is comfortable being on the road, and takes pride in their workmanship.

Key responsibilities

- Perform routine servicing, inspections and repairs of Estuary Group equipment at various retail locations

- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance

- Work according to an allocated daily and weekly service schedule

- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and replace plug-and-play components as needed

- Maintain accurate service records through our mobile system, documenting the work completed, parts replaced, issues identified and any follow-up required

- Manage parts inventory and basic tools provided with the work vehicle

- Test equipment after completing repairs to ensure it is operating correctly

- Keep the office informed of any delays, unexpected issues or changes to the daily schedule

- Communicate professionally when on-site at client premises

- Follow company safety procedures and site requirements

About you





- Practical/mechanical mindset – trade experience is welcome but not essential

- Confidence with hand tools (spanners, drills, screwdrivers)

- The ability to troubleshoot problems and follow technical instructions

- The ability to work to a schedule and meet allocated service timeframes

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Full driver's licence and good driving record

- Strong reliability and communication skills

- Based in or around Greater Sydney (preferred)
