About the role

PWD Plumbing Pty Ltd is seeking a Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team in Moree, NSW. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing plumbing and trades business. As a Skilled Labourer, you will provide essential support to our plumbing operations, assisting with the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems across civil, residential, commercial and industrial projects. This role is crucial to ensuring our projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures

- Preparing job sites by clearing areas, setting up equipment and organising materials

- Digging trenches, laying pipes and assisting with the assembly of plumbing components

- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

- Transporting and handling heavy materials and equipment to and from job sites

- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

- Supporting the team with general labouring tasks as required

- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles and materials

- Following all workplace safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents immediately

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a labourer in the plumbing, trades, civil or construction industry

- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy items regularly

- A solid understanding of health and safety standards and workplace procedures





- Competency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing work

- Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to take direction from supervisors

- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic

- A current driver's licence

- Relevant certifications such as a White Card (Construction Induction Card)
