An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join a growing, purpose-driven organisation on an initial 3-month contract, with the chance to transition into a permanent role.

Working as part of the Group Finance team, this is a broad, hands-on position covering financial reporting, month-end, balance sheet governance, compliance and process improvement. You'll work closely with senior finance leaders and operational stakeholders across a complex, multi-entity environment.

The Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting month-end, half-year and year-end close processes.
- Preparing consolidated P&L;, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting.
- Providing variance analysis and commentary against budget and forecast.
- Reviewing journals, accruals, prepayments and intercompany transactions.
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving outstanding items.
- Supporting statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit requirements.
- Assisting with cash, debtor and working capital management.
- Supporting capital expenditure and fixed asset accounting.
- Strengthening financial controls and identifying process improvements.
- Supporting ERP enhancements and broader finance initiatives.
- Partnering with operational stakeholders across the business.

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:





- CA or CPA qualification with a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years' financial accounting experience, ideally within a multi-entity or group environment.
- Strong month-end and financial reporting experience.
- Robust balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, controls-focused approach with an interest in process improvement.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
- Property, multi-site or operational industry experience would be advantageous.
