The AI Venturing team exists to identify, design and build AI-powered products that solve meaningful problems for x15, CommBank and our ventures.

Working at the intersection of product, engineering and AI, we're rapidly exploring where emerging technologies can create competitive advantage across our venture portfolio. We build customer-facing products, venture solutions and internal AI products that help our people work smarter, move faster and scale impact.

As our Senior Product Manager, you'll lead the discovery, strategy and delivery of AI products from concept through to pilot. Partnering closely with software engineers, designers, AI specialists and venture stakeholders, you'll shape products that solve real customer and business problems and create lasting value.

This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys hands-on building from zero to one and is energised by turning emerging AI capabilities into products that people genuinely love to use.

Your impact and contribution

This is an opportunity to shape how AI products are conceived, built, validated and scaled across x15ventures.

You'll lead the product strategy and execution for a portfolio of AI initiatives spanning customer-facing products, venture solutions and internal AI products that enhance productivity, decision-making and operational excellence.

Working closely with venture leaders, engineers and designers, you'll identify opportunities where AI can create meaningful value, rapidly validate ideas and guide products from concept through to pilot and beyond.

Success in this role isn't measured by the number of features delivered—it's measured by building products that people adopt, ventures value and create measurable commercial and customer impact.

Your responsibilities

Product Strategy & Discovery





- Partner with venture teams and internal stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities where AI can solve meaningful customer and business problems.

- Lead discovery activities including customer research, opportunity sizing, problem validation and experimentation.

- Develop product visions, strategies and roadmaps across a portfolio of AI initiatives.

- Translate complex business challenges into clear product opportunities and prioritised outcomes.

- Define product success measures, hypotheses and learning objectives to guide experimentation and investment decisions.

Product Delivery

- Lead cross-functional teams to design, build and launch AI-powered products from concept through to production.

- Own and prioritise product backlogs aligned to customer, venture and business outcomes.

- Work closely with software engineers and designers to rapidly prototype, test and iterate solutions.

- Balance customer value, technical feasibility, commercial impact and speed to maximise outcomes.

- Ensure pilots generate meaningful insights that inform future product direction and scaling opportunities.

AI Products & Capability

- Own the roadmap for internal AI products that transform how x15 teams work.

- Identify opportunities to build AI products that automate workflows, augment decision-making and unlock productivity across x15.

- Partner with engineering and business teams to design, build and launch AI products that solve meaningful business problems.

- Drive adoption by ensuring products deliver intuitive, high-value experiences that become part of everyday ways of working.

- Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to create reusable AI products that can scale across x15 and our venture portfolio.

Stakeholder Leadership

- Build trusted partnerships across venture leadership, engineering teams and executive stakeholders.

- Communicate product direction, priorities and outcomes with clarity and confidence.

- Influence decision-making through customer insight,



commercial thinking and evidence-based recommendations.

- Navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities and remove blockers to maintain delivery momentum.

- Champion product thinking and AI innovation across x15ventures.

Your skills and experience

Essential

- Significant experience leading digital product strategy and delivery from discovery through to launch.

- Proven experience building products within fast-paced technology, startup, venture or innovation environments.

- Strong understanding of Agile product development and experience working closely with software engineering teams.

- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and align diverse groups around a shared product vision.

- Commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer needs, business value and technical feasibility.

- Exceptional communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience leading product discovery, experimentation and customer validation.

Desirable

- Experience building AI-powered products, GenAI applications or intelligent workflow solutions.

- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents or emerging AI technologies.

- Experience delivering internal digital products that improve productivity or operational efficiency.

- Technical fluency that enables effective collaboration with engineering teams.

- Passion for emerging technologies and applying AI to solve real-world customer and business problems.
