Agile Delivery Manager

About the Role

Our client, a well-established national organisation, is seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to play a key role within a major enterprise technology transformation centred around the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Working alongside an external Systems Integrator responsible for the core D365 implementation, you'll take ownership of the internal technology delivery required to successfully integrate the recent platform into the broader organisation. This includes coordinating work across integration, data, business requirements and readiness, while managing dependencies between internal technology teams, the SI and business stakeholders.

A key focus will be strengthening how the internal technology team delivers. You'll establish practical Agile delivery disciplines, improve planning and workflow through Scrum and Kanban practices, create greater visibility through Azure DevOps and ensure work has clear ownership, requirements and definitions of done.

This isn't a traditional Project Manager or Scrum Master role. We're looking for a hands-on delivery leader who can combine Agile delivery expertise with strong technical understanding and stakeholder influence. You'll need to quickly understand what is happening across multiple workstreams, challenge where required and establish the structure, standards and accountability needed to drive delivery forward.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

· Take ownership of delivery planning across internal technology workstreams, creating a clear view of scope,



priorities, milestones, dependencies and responsibilities.
· Create greater visibility of work and delivery progress through effective use of Azure DevOps and associated delivery tooling.
· Establish clear expectations around how work is defined, documented, tracked and progressed, including agreed definitions of what "done" looks like.
· Ensure technical designs, requirements, decisions and approvals are appropriately documented and managed throughout delivery.
· Work closely with the Systems Integrator, internal technology teams and business stakeholders to clarify ownership and ensure delivery activities remain aligned.
· Improve planning practices to ensure delivery commitments are supported by clearly understood scope, capacity, dependencies and technical requirements.
· Proactively identify delivery risks, gaps, dependencies and blockers and drive these through to resolution.
· Challenge assumptions and delivery updates where required, ensuring teams remain accountable for agreed standards, actions and outcomes.
· Bring greater consistency, transparency and predictability to technology delivery across the broader transformation.

Skills and experience - To be successful in this role, you will bring:

· Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Agile Delivery Lead or similar within complex enterprise technology environments.
· Demonstrated experience establishing or improving delivery disciplines, standards and ways of working across technology teams.




· Experience managing delivery across areas such as ERP, enterprise applications, integration, data and cloud technologies.
· Strong technical understanding, with the ability to interrogate delivery updates, ask the right questions and identify potential risks or gaps.
· Strong planning and delivery management capabilities, with experience creating visibility across multiple interconnected workstreams.
· Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge existing practices and hold teams accountable for agreed outcomes.
· Experience working within large or sophisticated enterprise environments such as financial services, superannuation, energy, utilities or similar industries will be highly regarded.

You'll be joining a close-knit technology team where you'll have the opportunity to introduce stronger delivery practices, create greater clarity and accountability, and establish ways of working that support both the immediate transformation and longer-term technology capability.

This is an initial 9-month fixed-term opportunity based in the Western Suburbs, with a minimum of three days onsite per week and a preference for four.
