We're recruiting on behalf of a progressive, family-owned mixed farming operation in the Denman, Hunter Valley region.
This is an outstanding prospect for an experienced Senior Farm Hand who wants to progress into a Farm Manager role in the near future.About the RoleThis is a hands-on mixed farming position working across premium hay production, broadacre cropping and a commercial Angus cattle enterprise.
You'll work closely with the owners while taking increasing responsibility for the day-to-day operation and long-term planning of the farm.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading by example and is looking for genuine long-term career progression.What You'll Be DoingHay production, including lucerne management from paddock preparation through to harvestOperating and managing centre pivot irrigation systemsLivestock management across a commercial Angus cattle operationBroadacre cropping, including barley and wheatOperating, servicing and maintaining tractors, hay equipment and general farm machineryPasture establishment, spraying,
