Senior Financial Accountant - Temp to Perm
Your New CompanyOur client is a well-established organisation with a strong reputation within their industry.
Following continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join the team on an initial temporary basis with the intention of transitioning into a permanent position.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, partnering with the business and driving improvements across the finance function.
Your Recent PositionReporting to the Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of key financial accounting responsibilities while also supporting budgeting, forecasting and commercial reporting activities.
This is a broad position where you'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, providing meaningful financial insights and contributing to ongoing process improvement initiatives.Responsibilities include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
Managing month-end and year-end close processes
Balance sheet reconciliations, journals and financial analysis
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning




Variance analysis and providing commentary to senior stakeholders
Supporting statutory reporting and year-end audit requirements
Business partnering across operational teams
Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, systems and finance processes
Assisting with finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Providing ad hoc commercial analysis to support business decisions
About YouYou will be CA or CPA qualified and bring proven experience within a Senior Financial Accountant or similar position.
You'll have strong technical accounting capability, enjoy working with stakeholders across the business and be confident supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
Advanced Excel skills are essential, while exposure to ERP systems, Power BI or finance transformation projects will be highly regarded.
