Job Description
This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the Club operates in full compliance with all Queensland and Commonwealth legislative obligations, licence conditions, and regulatory requirements applicable to community-based licensed clubs.

Working closely with senior management, you will play a key role in protecting the Club's licences, reputation, and robust standing within the community.

About the Role

The Compliance Coordinator will support compliance across a broad range of operational and regulatory areas, with a strong focus on:

Incident, Audit & Enforcement Management
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and licence conditions
n
Monitor and maintain liquor and gaming compliance frameworks
n
Oversee AML/CTF obligations, including reporting, monitoring, and staff awareness
n
Support the development and implementation of governance frameworks and policies
n
Lead risk management processes, audits, and compliance reviews
n
Assist with the management of incidents, investigations, and regulatory interactions
n




Deliver and coordinate compliance training across all departments
n
Provide guidance and reporting to senior management.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
n
n
Strong knowledge of liquor and gaming legislation in Queensland
n
Experience in compliance, governance, risk, or regulatory environments (clubs or hospitality highly regarded)
n
Understanding of AML/CTF requirements (or willingness to develop expertise)
n
High attention to detail and robust organisational skills
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
Ability to work independently and influence outcomes across departments
n
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
n
