Our client who is seeking to appoint a Fiber Optic Extrusion Operator at their brand-newfacility in Melbourne's western suburbs.

Casual Rates - Full time Hours
Temp-to-Perm
Early Finish Fridays
Key Responsibilities:
Machine set up
Extruding to exact measurements & quality standard
Operational control
Threading & feeding
Quality Inspection
Cable threading
Rectifying problems at the root cause
Minimizing the generation of scrap
Other duties as required
Skills & Experience Required:
Experience in fiber optic cable making or plastic injection
Technical Knowledge – understanding of the extrusion process
Ability to maintain high standards & tolerances
Strict adherence to safety protocols when working with hot machinery
Strong work ethic, reliable & committed
Qualifications & Licences Required:
Driver's licence
