Froebel St Leonards is one of 5 early learning services run by the not-for-profit provider Froebel Australia. The centre offers inspiring learning environments on 3 levels plus a rooftop playground for 99 children from 6 months to 6 years. Our educational program focuses on immersive language learning (second language: German) and inquiry-based early learning by implementing the Little Scientists program

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team in our Nursery room on a permanent basis (37.5 hours per week across 5 days).

The successful candidate will:
n
n
hold an approved Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education; we are not looking for an ECT
n
have notable work experience as an early childhood educator
n
have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to built and grow trusting relationships with colleagues, families and community members
n
have an interest in immersive language learning and inquiry-based learning; an interest in STEM is a bonus
n
have an understanding of contemporary child protected practices
n
last but definitely not least: have a sunny personality with a positive mindset!
