Westcon Landscaping is a specialist retaining‐wall contractor working on large‐scale residential sub‐division projects. We build Concrete Sleeper, Block and Sandstone retaining walls across the Newcastle and Hunter region.

The role
n
We are seeking experienced Labourers to join our construction crews. You'll support skilled tradespeople on site undertaking general labouring tasks, assisting with the installation of retaining walls, using hand and power tools, and maintaining a safe and tidy work area.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Assisting excavator operators with footing excavation and auger work
n
Footing preparation, compaction and drainage installation
n
Hands‐on labouring across all stages of retaining wall construction
n
Prepare and clean work areas, move materials, and set out walls
n
Operate basic site equipment and hand tools safely
n
Follow site safety procedures




n
Communicate with Site Supervisors and report issues promptly
n
n
About you (must have)
n
n
Minimum 1–2 years' experience in civil or landscape construction (retaining wall experience preferred)
n
White Card
n
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
Physically fit and able to work outdoorsStrong attention to detail and valuable communication skills
n
Team player with a solid work ethic
n
