Job Description
City of Newton invites applications for a Planning Associate.
The role supports the planning team by providing zoning information, reviewing and analyzing development proposals, and assisting with the permitting process through the Land Use Committee.
Responsibilities include regulatory review, involvement in comprehensive plan updates, neighborhood studies, and coordination with City departments and Councilors.
Robust knowledge of zoning and public meeting experience preferred.
