Key responsibilities

Responsibilities vary depending on the department:

- Slaughter Department: Remove hides, hooves, heads, and other non-meat parts of the animal; split carcasses using saws or other tools; trim and cut meat into standard cuts for further processing or packaging; inspect and grade meat according to quality standards

- Beef Boner: Break carcasses into primal cuts or meat products according to specifications; debone forequarters, loins, and hindquarters; perform general labouring and cleaning tasks as required

- Beef Slicer: Competent in all facets of beef slicing and portioning; ensure accuracy and consistency of cuts; maintain equipment and adhere to hygiene standards

- Skins Department: Load and unload skins from salt pods safely and efficiently; inspect each skin for defects, assessing both pelt and wool quality; conduct quality control by identifying and addressing defects; prepare skins for the export market, ensuring compliance with industry standards

- Rendering Department:



Operate rendering equipment safely and efficiently; process animal by-products into usable material; ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards

- Strong time and workload management

- Willingness to work autonomously under supervision

- Must provide a copy of your Passport, Visa, or Proof of Citizenship

- Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
