Up to $60 per hour + Super + Lots of Overtime

Monday to Friday7-3pm (flex)

Are you an experienced Maintenance Supervisor looking for the opportunity to step into a leadership role with genuine career progression?

Our client is an established and growing industrial operation and is looking for a hands on Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of 6 to 7 Technical Operators.

The Role

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Technical Operators who act as machine owners and carry out the day to day maintenance of their equipment.

You will provide technical and breakdown support, help develop the team's maintenance capability and ensure strong maintenance structures and processes are in place.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Leading, coaching and supporting a team of 6 to 7 Technical Operators
- Providing hands on technical and breakdown support when required
- Supporting the team with fault finding and structured problem solving
- Developing a strong machine ownership and preventative maintenance culture
- Driving continuous improvement and Lean initiatives across the site
- Championing structured problem solving and root cause analysis
- Managing maintenance stores, spare parts and inventory
- Coordinating and managing external contractors
- Managing maintenance activities and records through MEX
- Supporting improvements in equipment reliability,



uptime and overall operational performanceEnsuring maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Building strong processes and accountability while taking a supportive and people focused approach to leadership

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- A Mechanical or Electrical trade background
- Electrical experience would be highly regarded
- Previous experience leading, supervising or mentoring a maintenance or technical team
- Solid mechanical and maintenance fault finding skills
- Experience working with automated machinery, conveyors or industrial equipment
- Strong understanding of preventative and reactive maintenance
- Experience with CMMS systems, ideally MEX
- Experience managing contractors, spare parts and maintenance stores
- A passion for continuous improvement and Lean principles
- Strong structured problem solving and root cause analysis skills
- A hands on leadership style with the ability to coach and develop others
