We’re on the hunt for a agile, experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to lead and drive the next chapter of WA Cricket’s customer experience journey across our iconic brands including the Perth Scorchers and the new WACA Ground. You’ll steer data driven marketing strategies, shape customer experiences, and lead integrated campaigns in partnership with our Communications and Digital teams. With responsibility for marketing budgets, event experiences, and a high performing team, this is your chance to make a real impact on customer loyalty, game attendance, and lifetime value while championing some of WA’s most loved sporting brands.

How you’ll make an impact

- Develop and deliver marketing strategies and campaigns to retain and grow key customer groups across traditional and digital platforms.

- Lead the development and ongoing iteration of customer journeys across key products with a focus on the consideration and acquisition phases (collaborating with other departments on the engagement and retention phases).

- Direct the development and delivery of key customer experience engagement strategies.

- Use data to iterate the customer journeys and optimise the engagement and retention resulting in high NPS, increased game attendance, increased repurchase ultimately resulting in a higher customer life-time value.

- Maintain brand consistency, working closely with the Communications and Digital Teams to ensure a coordinated approach to identity and messaging.

- Control marketing budget to drive economies of scale production and placement for all marketing programs.





- Ensure the event experience across Perth Scorchers match days and premium and Membership products align with brand experience and strategic purpose.

- Represent WA Cricket and Perth Scorchers at nominated games, events and functions upon reasonable request.

- Provide leadership and management to direct reports.

A great fit for this role looks like

- A relevant tertiary degree

- 5+ years marketing experience

- Knowledge of customer acquisition and retention through marketing and driving high NPS scores

- Innovative thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver above and below the line marketing plans

- Experience in working with CRM, CMS and EDM tools

- Project management skills

- Demonstratable skills in creating and implementing customer journeys

- Relationship building skills

- Strong written and verbal skills
