Role Description:
- Diagnose and repair various automotive issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a range of taxi vehicles engines, brakes and electrical systems.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance needs in a friendly and clear manner.
- Utilise diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Dismantle and replace or repair the defective part or equipment.
- Change engine and transmission oils.
- Conduct quality checks before returning vehicles.
- Roadworthy Testing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Cleaning equipment and work areas.
- Are reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a positive attitude.
- Always follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Skills required for the role
- Minimum of 2 years mechanical experience along with formal qualifications (at least Certificate III)
- Experience in European cars is must
- Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
