Originally opened in 1834, Hadley’s Orient Hotel is Hobart’s most authentic heritage hotel, featuring 71 rooms and suites, a bar, breakfast room, and event spaces with the magnificent Atrium at its heart. Home to the Hadley’s Art Prize, various exhibitions and corporate events, Hadley’s is also renowned for our traditional Afternoon Tea service.

We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional to join our Food & Beverage Team at Hadley’s as Food & Beverage Supervisor, fulltime.

The F&B; Supervisor will be working on the floor as part of our operational team delivering and coordinating guest experiences in our F&B; Department. We are looking for someone that can lead the team, has strong food and beverage skills, and great time management. You will need to be available and have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts and days, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. Our offering includes breakfast, afternoon teas, share plates in the Art Bar and events. From lavish weddings and dinners to conferences and of course the famous Hadley’s Art Prize.

You will report directly to the Guest Services Manager who oversees the Front Office and Food & Beverage departments at our hotels. You will assist with stock control, rostering, training and staff development. Computer skills such as updating our POS system, basic excel, rostering software and reporting are essential.

Our preferred requirements:

- RSA certificate




- Supervisory experience including rostering team members and managing stock
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive and collaborative team relationships.
- A passion for providing exceptional guest experience
- Previous experience in a similar role.
