IPC Maintenance is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our team, for an exciting 6 month project with one of our top tier clients!

You must have solid fixed plant maintenance experience ideally backed with leading hand/supervisory experience. You will be a highly skilled and motivated tradesperson, with a positive attitude, commitment to health & safety and customer satisfaction will be admirable.

Commencing immediately! The hours for the role are 0500 – 13:30 Monday to Friday (non-negotiable) with an opportunity for overtime, on occasion with a call out roster. The site is based in Kwinana and would suit someone looking for local work and work-life balance. Excellent remuneration is on offer for the right candidate!

Responsibilities:

- Removal, installation and alignment of equipment

- Pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings and associated equipment

- Equipment inspections, fault finding and breakdown maintenance

- Planned and preventative maintenance

- Reading and interpreting drawings and technical information

- Working closely with supervisors and other trades

- Work independently with limited supervision

- Completing work in accordance with IPC and client safety requirements

Requirements:

- Australian recognised trade qualification





- Solid industrial and fixed plant experience

- Current Australian Driver's Licence

- Construction White Card

- Strong commitment to workplace safety

- Ability to work independently and within a team

- Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening

- Full Australian working rights

- Available Immediately
