ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a friendly, energetic all-rounder to join our Smithfield team. You’ll help customers at the counter, pick and pack orders, load goods and lend a hand wherever it’s needed. It’s a busy, hands-on role, so you’ll enjoy being on the go and working as part of a close-knit team.

Our store is open from 6.00 am to 4.30 pm, five days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

- Helping customers with sales, orders and product questions
- Getting to know our range through regular training with leading brands
- Picking and preparing orders accurately and on time
- Lending a hand across the store when needed
- Keeping an eye on stock levels so our customers can get what they need

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

- A friendly, helpful approach and a genuine focus on customers
- Experience safely loading,



unloading and looking after stock
- The fitness to safely lift and manually handle goods
- Good attention to detail and pride in getting things right
- A strong commitment to keeping yourself, your team and visitors safe
- A current LF forklift licence — this is essential
- A hands-on, can-do attitude and a willingness to pitch in
